Started out this afternoon with U2.....letting the app pick for me.  several songs from them, then on to Heart, Toto, Bon Jovi and Roxette.  An interesting mix, but it's 80's music so it's all good.

That's a pretty good mix. Love me some Heart and Bon Jovi, though they were overplayed back in the day. Always thought Roxette was great late 80s pop. Marie can really wail

One Bon Jovi song is overplay as was anything form Heart in the 80s. Bubble gum metal for twelve year old girls.  80s pop blew just like it almost always did every decade. There was a pretty good alternative music scene going in the 80s though.

Top 40 pop sucks almost always regardless of decade to one extent or another. You like it when you're twelve or thirteen but not after. I liked Herman's Hermits and the Royal Guardsmen in the 60s. I don't now nor do I think it's more than lightweight crap for the most part. Bon Jovi is just gawdawful.

I was well out of my teens by the 20's.
