So are blacks, Hispanics, sjw types. This woman is probably around people who use the word often, so she could not help but use it.

I find it odd only blacks can use the word but nobody else. Only a pea brain would think this way.

This is not racism. The Republicans in that news story should be ashamed of themselves for attacking that woman over this. I absolutely abhor the fact that the word '*****' cannot be used in a non-pejorative way in, seemingly, any context whatsoever. It is a bad word for blacks, but there are rude names for any ethnic group but this is the one word that is completely taboo, so taboo that it is the one word that can never be spelled out! Why? ***** ridiculous. In fact, my spelling the word '*****' above will probably be censored, even though I mean no disrespect. I think it is a way to take exaggerated offense and use that to beat people over the head and achieve some measure of power. And before anyone on here asks 'why would you want to use the word '*****', you must be a racist', I don't use it but I have said it or thought it many times in my life about people who have earned it. I would not use it to insult a random black person who I know nothing about.

Papa John got run through the ringer for merely quoting someone else that said it.

Those people were quite niggardly with their compassion & understanding towards Papa John.

Good post. Why this word is so special/taboo and calling someone a Nazi isnâ€t I donâ€t know.
The Reps were playing politics of course just like the Dems do.

I think it is about power and control for blacks, and about assuaging of guilt for liberal whites, even though they are not guilty of anything. The ostentatious shows of hysterical over-reactions by white liberals to any mention of the word , publicly and privately, is insultingly embarrassing. I am talking about situations like the Papa John's guy or this democrat lady in the story above where there is clearly no intention to offend, not situations where people are racially abusing innocent blacks. The Thought and Word police are jumping all over themselves to condemn the heretics and display their righteousness. Nauseating!

I'm not censoring the word here as it's not used to call somebody it.   And I don't have a problem with people expressing it as a reference as long as it's not directed at somebody.  We've become WAY too sensitive as a society.

I did notice that and I appreciate your level-headedness.
