Jane Fonda II can do what he wants. He's going to say he's doing his civic duty.
Did someone suggest we were targeting some person ?

I'll ask you the same question....
So, who are we fighting against or is this just an indefinite, money wasting war against an ideology that will never, ever, ever go away?

We're not making war on Iran. We're simply boycotting them and boycotting those that prefer to trade with them rather than us. Not incidentally, Iran has been killing Americans for years in Iraq.

In other news, our worthless NATO "ally" Spain withdrew their one warship accompanying the U.S. fleet near Iran. I have to wonder if any of our so-called "allies" have any warships in the area to support us.

The America, and the American Military, that you once knew is gone.

If we commit 120,000 troops, what would you call it?

Well, if Iran is going to take military action against us because of our sanctions, then what other choice do we have? Do you believe that we should allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapons capability?

If Iran takes military action against the United States, I have no problem with us defending ourselves. Is that what's happening now?

Would shutting down the Straight of Hormuz be considered an action against us?
Where DID you go to school?

No. Why would YOU consider it an attack on the US?

My view is we need to disengage from the ME and all of Islam to as great an extent possible. Any changes we manage to force end up being worse than what we started with. However, interference with major shipping lanes especially something like the Straits of Hormuz would require US intervention. Global economic disruption of that sort would be an attack on us and everyone really. Our response should be very targeted though and limited to stopping whatever action we cannot live with. As far as my idea of disengagement goes though I do think we can use economic measures like sanctions against rogue states , support Israel , and attack outright terrorists where they live. Regime change? At some point we may learn in Islam that usually means we go from awful to horrifying. Also , aside from Israel, we shouldn't be picking sides over there. Our friends are no better than our enemies in the ME. The Saudis are slime.

What Third said, above. And, I did not say attack, I said action. You going to let one rogue nation shut down an entire seaway? Neville?
