I've tried to discuss this before but no one is willing to believe it.  The truth is, blacks had more economic opportunity and lived better under apartheid and white rule than they do under the new black socialist created system.  Blacks from other countries used to flock to South Africa during busy farming seasons for work but now there is no reason to come since the farms are being destroyed and the country is devolving.

Just left South Africa. Folks seemed happier in Zambia and Zimbabwe than Johannesburg. We were just happy to get the heck out of dodge. No more African Safaris either. Victoria Falls was similar to The Alamo - a disappointment. Next African trip it's Morocco and Egypt.

I think nations thrive due to solid government which has precepts which are fair and equitable, rule of law, and compliance of all this with a military uncorrupt to enforce this.

The United States and Europe boycotted South Africa's economy and forced the whites there to turn their country over to these people.  Both are headed down the same road that will lead to non-white rule and some day the chickens will come home to roost.

Which no one is arguing.  The tumult and chaos and the anarchy is not due to skin color though.

Install a government like we have or many around the world along with  an honest military and court system with voting and you'd have a prosperous nation or group of them.
