So, what would you do with an F-16?
So, you get your single engine land license, great. You can't fly it.
You get an instrument rating. You can't fly it.
And of course a rating on a complex turbine engined aircraft.
You get a type endorsement for an F-16, I have no idea if this can be done by a civilian. Apparently someone somewhere can give you a check ride, somehow, it's single seat. You won't got from an instrument rating in a Cessna 172 directly to driving a turbine engined beast though.
Now, you need fuel, about 5300 pounds per hour at cruise speeds or about 7 gallons per minute at 500 knots.
Forget about using the burner.
