Reclining your airline seat
#25
It is a douche move though. Every square inch is valuable the way they pack you in like sardines. Luckily I have a strong enough knee that no one will be able to pull that crap on me.

It was another 5 grand for business. I'm not paying 5K to lay down. Do I have 5k? Yes. But that's a ripoff. I didn't have 5K when I took the Greyhound. That's why I was on a bus I barely had the 99 bucks it cost. I would pay 5K to not be smashed by a four hundred pounder for 12 hours. I'd pay 10K.

I was on a bus from St. Louis to Central Texas (3 days). We stopped at every post office on the way. Still recall a town sign that read 'Population 26'. As for paying to have a shower, eat decent food, and have a seat that is both extremely comfortable and doubles as a bed is worth it to me. If this was a flight every few years, I could manage, but we fly 3 or 4 times a year.
DC is a symptom, not the cause. The cause is basic voter stupidity and economic ignorance.

I was in St. Louis and was having my first bouts with asthma.  I was not breathing right for hours.  I knew something was wrong and just wanted to go home to go to a hospital I was familiar with.  I flew from St. Louis to Cleveland.  I am 6 foot 2 inches.  My knees are typically crammed.  Because I had breathing problems, I was irritable.

The man in front reclined his chair into my knees.  I groaned and said "those are my knees".  He turned to look at me and tried again to recline back into me.  I took his seat and shoved it forward with both hands.  He flew forward hitting into the guy in front of him.  He went to say something and I ended the conversation with "look Mfer".  The man never tried to lean back again.  Prolly one of the least patient times in my life.

I would have tore his leg off and made him eat it, were I were so provoked.

So you didn't want to allow him to do something he was entitled to do? I'm confused by your anger. BTW, I'm 6'3". But I recognize the right of the passenger in front of me to lean back.

So you reclined your seat into someone and they provoked you into starting this thread?  Come on, what happened?  Inquiring minds want to know.  Or is it Enquiring like the magazine one would read on, say, a long flight?   So was it some old lady?  A millennial snowflake lumbermetro with sore knees?

Everyone starts with the exact same amount of limited space. If you lean back into someone's lap, you are taking some of their space and giving it to yourself. Total dick move.

You are "entitled" to go five miles beneath the speed limit in the far left lane. But that doesn't mean that you aren't being a douche bag.

Why do they allow the seats to recline? If the guy in front of me reclines and I recline my seat, I am more comfortable than if neither of us do. This is pretty simple stuff BB, dummy up.
