Only as a Democrat.  If he said and did the things he did as a Republican he would have been gone a long time ago. They can only cover up so much now with him on the campaign trail.  His best hope would have been to stay home, do no live appearances and just run his campaign with carefully screened video speeches with the gaffes edited out.

She was smart to get the whole Pocahontas thing behind her early. Pretend to apologize sincerely, pretend to have "learned from my mistake", pretend to want to make amends to actual tribal members.

Should it be a huge story in this primary? Absolutely, but none of the other candidates have the balls to hit her with it for whatever reason.

Trump has already admitted he played the Pocahontas card too early. She is the one candidate he should be very nervous about. To people who are less politically in tune, she appears to be quite moderate, looks well in front of a camera, is generally coherent, and she's a woman.

Same as Obama knew he could count on almost 100% of the black vote, Warren will be able to garner a very large percentage of female voters simply because she is female. Identity politics is very much alive and well, and most voters are too stupid to actually do their own research.

Like it or not, Warren has real appeal to the small number of voters who can actually be swayed in the places it matters.

Trump may end up winning in 2020, but there is no chance that he destroys any candidate. It'll be closer than people think...

Trump's shot is, again, to win the EC while losing the PV.  It hinges on the midwest, again.

Warren would be a "competent" candidate.  She doesn't utter many gaffes, is probably the most intelligent in the bunch, and has her giveaways dovetailing with the current trajectory of the country.

Still in a state of disbelief.  I'll wait a bit and see how the primaries actually shake out first, but right now my jaw is on the floor.

Warren looks like the winner to me. She will be a tough candidate.
