The most interesting part of this is that Mueller's primary purpose was "Russian interference in the 2016 election" and secondary was "Trump campaign collusion with the Russian government". There's no mention of the primary purpose at this point.

There's no mention of the primary purpose at this point. The catchall in the mandate was Muller could investigate any crimes uncovered during his Russian interference investigation.... which serves the same purpose as "all related duties" in a job description. It was that same catchall that allowed Starr to pursue the blue dress and perjury. Bill Clinton's sex life was not part of Starr's original mandate.

There's no mention of the primary purpose at this point. Sure, I get that, and frankly I'm not upset that Manafort was nailed even if it was extra curricular to the main focus.  My point was that the media don't even care about the purported main focus of the investigation.

Watched some clips last night of Scarborough and Chris Cuomo having self righteous meltdowns (Scarborough was my favorite pointing his finger at the viewers while going off on Fox and their viewership). They're not gonna apologize for merely reporting the news (that's how they view what they've been doing). Really? Now how is that I, a simpleton viewer of Fox, knew that the UNVERIFIED dossier was the entire basis of the collusion meme? I believe I more or less knew that from day one. Yet in the entire 3 year build up to this you people refused to report on it and went to the floor guaranteeing everyone that there was collusion! All you had to do was report on the dossier being unverified. Yet they wouldn't do it. They may have made some scant mention very early in the game, but those people went to the mat guaranteeing their viewers that there was collusion. How many crackpots did they invite on their shows? I guess that Greenwald guy said he was on there all the time until he started taking a turn (when he realized the emperor had no clothes) , then they wouldn't bring him on anymore. "....we're not gonna apologize for reporting the news..." My azzzzz! You people KNEW EXACTLY what you were doing. Â
Then of course there was the issue of Trump being spied on. Remember those days? The cute little pics of Obama looking out of a microwave. Etc... Now of course we knew this for a while too, yet the news outlets that act like spoiled rotten 13 year old girls refuse to ever correct the record or admit to a mistake. On that note, in saner times I suspect guys like Scarborough, Don Lemon, et al would be out on their azz. Jeff Zucker runs CNN, correct? Or does he have an ownership stake? If he's of the management type he'd be long gone too. I think this could still happen, but they will let time go by before they ever admit that it was their collusion hoax that brought down those clowns

Just remember this stuff as Joe Scarborough, Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon wag their fingers at you.
Excerpt: CNN reported in July that former Trump attorney Michael Cohen was prepared to tell special counsel Robert Mueller that the president had knowledge in advance of a Trump Tower meeting between his son and Russians. ut Cohenâ€s lawyer, Lanny Davis, said in August that CNNâ€s reporting got “mixed up†and that Cohen had no information related to the Trump Tower meeting. Cohen said the same to Congress on two separate occasions. CNN doubled, tripled, and quadrupled down on its reporting, despite a series of issues with the report. https://dailycaller.com/2019/03/25/media...fake-news/

They always have been and probably always will. Do they think that AG Holder was foisted upon Obama by the meanie republicans?
The idiots who vote for these people believe every word they spew. Sane people see this for what it is - brainwashing.
What should have happened is Mueller either send the case to a grand jury or not, and kept his mouth shut. Mueller didn't have the testicular fortitude to do this knowing a D.C. grand jury would indict a ham sandwich. He knew he'd lose.
DC is a symptom, not the cause. The cause is basic voter stupidity and economic ignorance.
