Seattle is the first area in the US where residents can vote via smartphones... King County, Washington residents will be able to vote from their phones for an upcoming board of supervisors election.  https://www.theverge.com/2020/1/22/21077...d-election

I'm old school.  We've moved from a society of contact, either in person (shopping, dining, ordering) to one of virtual contact.  I think people should get up and go vote IN PERSON and use a ballot that can be counted.
So now the government will buy everyone who can't afford it a smart phone. Makes sense.

This would easily be hacked. I too prefer to vote in person.

Voting in person kind of blows, but this could too easily be rigged by the ultra left dweebs in Silicon Valley.
Voting in person should be the only way allowed. I’m a big believer in the use of paper ballots. While ballot box stuffing can happen, it is much likely less to be abused and is visual evidence in an election. I do not trust electronic voting at all.

Ditto.  This is yet another ingredient at potential future rigging.  Maybe I'm old school, but would you trust this process?

It's called election DAY for a reason.  Get your ass up off the couch and go vote...  IN PERSON.  Don't give these weasels any more openings to rig and/or steal your vote.

It does if you only have same day voting. I voted on Oct. 27th in 2016. No line at all and this was in the city, free parking too which can be a hassle in that area. IIRC we could early vote in 5 different precincts compared to the 1 you normally get on election day.
Mandatory voting will be next. SCOTUS will call it a 'tax'.

The left will eventually start pushing for voting rights for foreign tourists.  You laugh now...

I just looked it up for my Dad. He is still registered to vote in Michigan. It has been almost 2 years since he passed away.
