Catching your finger on the tab in the umbrella that holds it open.....

The car door lock snagging that piece of skin on the inside of your upper arm when it locks as you speed up for the first time

a paper cut.
Nothing is worse than a paper cut.
I’d go with door B.
Carrying two 5 gallon gas cans and running your head into the corner edge of the rear lift gate on your ford explorer because the damn thing doesn't raise high enough for your height.
Slamming your own finger in your car door.

Still have the scar from that one.

Only one I've had is a paper cut, and you haven't had a paper cut until you have had a vinyl paper cut

I do as well.....middle finger on my right hand.  It was a cold January day when I did it and my hands were so cold I didn't realize I did until I saw the blood flowing down my hand.  Took 8 or so stitches to close it.

Those are all very painful things. I would like to add to the list watching any TV show with "the Real Housewives of " in the title
Hang nail

We must be twin sons of different mothers.
I am gonna go with running my shin into a trailer hitch on the back of my pickup truck. You'll learn some new words.

I did that on the edge of a metal ramp. There is still a dent in my bone.

We have real wood floors in our house and, when I have socks on, I like to "run" (more like a few quick steps) and slide on them.  So, I was leaving the kitchen, on my way to the couch, and did my usual slide.  Except that I suddenly found myself on the ground in severe pain.   When I went down, I ended up behind the couch, so my wife couldn't see me and thought I was kidding.

Long story short, a triangular piece of wood had come loose and slid into the bottom of my foot through my sock.  The majority of it was so shallow, and the skin pulled so tight, that I could almost see the wood through my skin.  As I'm laying on the ground, bleeding everywhere, I think to myself "I really don't want to go to the ER and wait for 4 hours and I highly doubt that Urgent Care is going to be able to handle something like this", so I ask my wife to get a razor blade knife from the garage.  It's the kind that you can break off sections to get to a new, sharp area.  I then proceed to cut down the length of the wood (about 3-4 inches) in an attempt to get the wood out and avoid, at least for now, going to the ER.  It was about 9:30 at night.

Needless to say, I was able to cut down 95% of it, until I got to the part where the wood stopped being shallow and drove into the arch of my foot... and it would not budge.  The adrenaline was wearing off and pain increasing, so we went to Urgent Care.

Luckily the Urgent Care had a good doctor onsite that was able to numb, remove and stitch me up.  The staff found my story pretty amusing but said that my handy work probably did more harm than good because of the extra stitches needed to close the wound.

Broken ankles.  Playing decades of basketball I've broken them on each foot several times.  Both are abnormally large and look swollen to this day.  F'd up but it was worth it...black toes and all.[Image: emoji21.png]
