Very exciting upcoming year for the Browns, let's reflect on a few important dates:

1994 - last playoff win (AFC wild card game; Beat Patriots 20-13)
2002 - last playoff appearance (AFC wild card; Lost 36-33 to Steelers Sick  )
2007 - last winning season (10-6)

2020 - Browns win Super Bowl LIV

What're your thoughts/predictions for this upcoming championship season?
My guess if they drop back to 5-11 next season, something more prosaic.

This post might be more appropriate for the beer and liquor thread.  Starting a little early today?   Big Grin
Playoffs or bust. They will sign some good free agents, as players now know the table is turning. Bringing a championship to this city in football will be like something you have never seen before.
Bright Future but I ALSO think the Bengals are going to do well also.   You are counting them out pretty quickly.   Hired a nice young coach who was part of a super bowl team.
2 wins...

I'll make you a bet on that one.
Da Browns had a nice year where they happened to win some close games, but regression to the mean usually sets in and they resume their more historical mediocrity and win 5, or 4, or 6.

It was meant as a joke.

Browns = Joke

Well that is fine.  You can think as you wish.   My opinion is different.   And this fall we'll discuss it.

they also happened to lose some close games.  Or don't those count in you estimations and overall generalizations?

Mediocre teams beat other mediocre teams, and vice versa. They all end up somewhere between 4-12 and 8-8.

Unless something changes majorly, the ones that were 8-8 up 4-12 the next year often as not.
